The current drifts around you as you lay still on the bed of the sea of defilement. Lifeless, without a pulse, the creatures of the abyss pluck away slowly at your body. As time passes, a light shines down on your body that pierces the darkness. The man grabs your putrefy person and brings you to the vessels on the surface. The air wreaking with your rot and decay as he hoisted the corpse on the deck.  He takes his saw and starts piercing your chest to find your coronary system. When he locates it, he takes his hands, shoves them in, and rips out your old heart. Taking a living heart and filling the void that was once there. Your eyes open and your senses are in shock for returning to life.

You call him king because he has chosen you to follow him for his glory. You no longer belong to the sea of defilement from which you once lived. The veins and vessels circulate through your being with his blood that he sacrificed to love you and to restore you to his purpose.

Ineffable: Simply to great to describe in words.

Christ called me to follow Him. If you knew my story, you'd understand. The word Christian is compared to word sorry. They both lost their meaning.

I never wanted to serve a corpse on a cross that died 2,000 years ago. Instead, I wanted to rule my life and build a fan base. In short, Christianity to me was a piece of fiction, created to manipulate and sway the masses from not having fun.

However, it's different now because my being and thought process changed by the hope spoken to me in 2013. Hopefully, the above story illustrates that change.

I am far from perfect, ask my former co-workers, and put together. The significant difference from before 2013 and now is there's no longer this constant search to fill the void that was in me. Peace came into my life along side with rest and hope. They never will leave because He promised He would never leave. He forgave all of my defilement towards him, entirely justified me, and thoroughly loved me by calling me to follow Him for his good works. The Spirit changes my behaviors when He refreshes me through Scripture.

Simply grace as I am wretch lost, but now found.

Per C.S. Lewis, there are only three lens you will view Christ as and this will determine how you proceed with your life.

1. Jesus Christ is a liar

2. Jesus Christ is a lunatic

3. Jesus Christ is Lord

Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength,
whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert,
and shall not see any good come.
He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness,
in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
    whose trust is the Lord.

He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick;   who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart  and  test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.
