As the snow falls, a blanket shrouds the landscape.
It is as if you cover us white as snow.
The inside glows, and the tree is lit.
We are in your remit of your grace upon the season.
You give us a reason to live without guilt or shame.
You were born in a manger without blame, a savior to the world.
Even though it was dark, a 14-year-old girl who is a slave to you bore a burden to carry you.
As a new king entered the world, the babies cried as Harod didn't spare their lives.
Yet you've declared that you will repair this broken world.
Jesus, your blood was spread a lamb at the alter.
Altering our lives and making us right with the Father.
These words are like fodder to shape the herds of people who come to you.
Thank you for comforting and loving me unconditionally because you are a gift.
You allow me to live in the present.
Your presence is like a shallow breeze on the sands of a beach.
Your Spirit sways and coddles us.
Your touch throttles the flow of our being.
Seriously, Spirit sanctifies our sorrows.
Guide our sails with each tact and starboard as we head towards the horizon.
Merry Christmas thank you for being the reason for the season.
