Khata
Khata
I lied
Khata
I lusted
Khata
I hated
Khata
I am a glutton
Khata
I am prideful
Khata
I am a sloth
Khata
I envied
Khata
I idolized
Khata
I rebelled
As far from the East to the West, my khata has been forgiven,
Surely mercy follows, surely peace remains, and I will dwell with the Lord forever.
My defiance has led to my compliance with You.
The showers of your grace drip on me and empowers me.
The belief I had from the thief who gave me grief.
Lies of me being unworthy that ties to my soul.
Yet you cut loose my shackles; You gave me another try.
It’s not to my demised, even though I compromised.
Now I rise, no longer disguised
